Recently a women in evanston was found living with her three siblings. Her three DEAD siblings. One of which had died in the 1970's. The full story is found on the Chicago Tribune. The three that were found consisted of a sister named Anita who died in may of this year, her brother Frank who died in 2003 and finally another sister Elaine that is believed to have died sometime in the 1970's. When I first heard about this story I thought that it meant that Margaret had killed all of her siblings. As I read the article I found out that the police have found out that they all died of natural causes. As they searched the house all three bodies had been covered in blankets. They were just sitting in different rooms of the house slowly decaying. The article also says that Margaret has a reputation of a "pack rat" but I just think this is totally over the top.
When I heard of this story I was totally disgusted. I don't know how a women could live with 3 dead bodies just simply sitting there. There was in no way an attempt to keep them from decaying. The smell of the house with a 30 year old dead body must have been unbearable. I don't know how crazy this lady must have been to be able to justify this act. What I also don't understand is if her first sister died in 1970 then the other two siblings must have known about this as well. Did they all just plan on living in that house forever? Was this some sort of crazy pact to let this family stay together forever!?!

This story is creepy and completely repulsive. I would be terrified if I saw those bodies sitting in the house. Had the person that was alive been staying in her house alone with her dead siblings the whole time, with no one ever visiting her? I would be really interested to find out what was going on in her mind to lead her to do something so grotesque.
All I can say is wow. I'ld never think that someone would want to live with the decaying bodies IN THEIR HOUSE, just sitting there. The questions you've asked have really got me wondering. Didn't the family members know about the dead bodies? I really am stumped. Wouldn't people coming to her home realize that they were sitting next to dead people?! It seems so frivolous and unbelievable.
This is so weird! I didn't hear about this! I also wonder if they made some sort of pact to stay together. What i find kind of strange is that none of their friends or anyone wondered where they went, because it seems like there was no funeral or anything. I gag at the smell of throw up, but a dead body? I really don't understand how in the world she lived with THREE of them!
